OpenCode, an open-source AI coding agent, has become a popular alternative to Claude Code and Cursor. However, hackers managed to breach part of its online platform and steal some users' API keys.
The AI tools that were called in for help refused to flag the malicious code, allowing the hackers to continue causing damage.
